Cathryn Ward, Doctoral Trainee

My name is Cathryn Ward. I attend the clinical psychology doctoral program at University of San Francisco. I’m supervised by John Joseph, LMFT. I have a Masters of Science in psychology and have experience working with adolescents and adults who have substance use disorders and elementary aged children. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental therapeutic space using cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and seeing through a strengths based lens.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy surfing, spending time with my dog Coraline, and doing anything outdoors.
