Immigration Evaluations

At our practice, we specialize in comprehensive psychological evaluations to support various immigration cases. Each assessment is conducted with cultural sensitivity and clinical rigor to ensure reports are aligned with the legal context and tailored to the individual’s unique experiences.

We provide evaluations for asylum cases, focusing on the psychological impact of past persecution or the fear of future harm in the client’s country of origin. Our reports carefully document symptoms and experiences to support and strengthen the asylum narrative.

For hardship waivers (I-601 and I-601A), we assess the emotional and psychological impact that separation or denial of the waiver would have on a qualifying relative—typically a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse, parent, or child.

We offer trauma-informed evaluations for individuals applying under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), documenting the mental health effects of domestic abuse by a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse or family member.

Our practice also conducts psychological evaluations for U-Visa applicants who have been victims of qualifying crimes such as domestic violence, sexual assault, or other serious offenses. These assessments highlight the lasting psychological impact of the crime and the trauma experienced.

Lastly, we provide evaluations for T-Visa applicants who have been victims of human trafficking. These evaluations address the profound psychological effects of trafficking, including trauma, fear, and loss of autonomy.
