Ehsan Azzami, Doctoral Trainee in Clinical Psychology & Assessment Coordinator
I attend California Northstate University's College of Psychology. My clinical work is grounded in cultural humility, curiosity, and a strengths-based approach. I am passionate about supporting clients through challenges related to trauma, relationships and attachment, men's mental health, and forensic concerns.
In therapy, I strive to create a space that is collaborative, warm, and adaptive to each person's needs. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all, rather it happens through relationships that honor your story, values, and capacity for growth. My goal is to empower clients to better understand themselves, navigate life's complexities, and work towards meaningful change.
In addition to therapy, I specialize in psychological assessment for both adults and adolescents. I provide evaluations that are comprehensive, clear, and tailored to inform treatment planning, personal insight, or court-related needs. As Assessment Coordinator, I also help train incoming clinicians and refine our clinic's assessment practices to ensure quality, consistency, and care.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors. I'm also an avid reader and lifelong learner who values staying curious both in life and in the work I do with clients.
I am supervised by licensed clinical psychologist Dr. R. Isabel K'Burg, PSY# 34649
